The second volume of Janice Tucker Rhoda’s ABCs of Cello method focuses on learning second position with melodies, warm-up exercises, study pieces, scales and arpeggios. It also includes graphs to show new left-hand finger placement, a note-reading worksheet, and practice chart. As a direct continuation of the ABCs of Cello for the Absolute Beginner, Book 1, students will learn additional slurred bowing techniques and rhythms, as well as new key and time signatures. The download consists of three components: 43 performance pieces of cello with piano accompaniments, 43 piano accompaniment tracks by themselves for play-along, and a printable pdf file of the piano accompaniments.
