My HQ half moon case arrived in good shape, very well packed.
On the outside I the appreciate the sturdy build, handles and excellent backpack straps, that should stand me in good stead for air travel.
On the inside however, I would have liked a little more padding to stop my fiddle from freely moving sideways. I have had to add an extra piece of foam to stop that happening. I own a standard full size old German trade fiddle.
Uncertain as to the virtue of the removable, zippable compartment. The zip makes access a little awkward if still in the case.
Velcro strap for shoulder rest is useful.
It is described as being adjustable to different sized instruments. Am yet to figure out which part is adjustable?
Price was very competitive.

The adjustability is provided through the neck cradle and cradle for the bow. These are fastened to the internals of the case via Velcro, so can be pulled off and placed where they best work to secure both the instrument and the bow/s. We've updated the images on the product page to show the adjustable pieces.
