The acclaimed PWM editions have been based primarily on Chopin's autograph manuscripts, copies approved by him, and first editions. The principal aim of the Editorial Committee was to establish a text which fully revealed Chopin's thoughts and corresponded to his intentions as closely as possible. This is volume 18, part of this 21 volume collection prepared by Paderewski, Bronarski and Turczynski.
